Team Germany, led by current SJSU Judo assistant coach and former German National Team member Toni Lettner, finished in second place.

Also in attendance was SJSU Judo assistant coach Toni Lettner, who served as a coach for Team Germany. Team Germany put up strong performances throughout the day, ultimately earning a silver medal after falling short to Team USA.
